If you want to peek at an unreleased phone, your best bet is to take a ride on public transportation. Thankfully, a Reddit user posted some blurry photos of the long-rumored Pixel Fold in the hands of someone riding on the New York City subway.
Google Pixel claimed to be born in the wild
The original poster claims a Google employee handled the phone in the photos and we can get a glimpse of what appears to be the phone’s cover screen and its noticeable black bezel. Granted only one photo is clearly visible while the rest could use some Google’s Photo Unblur feature. According to the latest rumors, the Pixel Fold should adopt a design similar to the Oppo Find N2 with a compact cover display and a large foldable display.

The Pixel Fold is expected to carry a 7.57-inch foldable panel and a 5.78-inch panel for the cover display made by Samsung Display. Elsewhere, the Pixel Fold is rumored to come with a 4,700mAh battery. The foldable phone is also rumored to go into mass production in Q3 and the phone is rumored to cost around $1,800 once it’s launched. We could realistically see the Pixel Fold announced at Google I/O which kicks off on May 10th.
