Ahead of MWC Barcelona, HMD announced a new entry-level device dubbed Nokia C02. The phone boasts a modest spec sheet and some interesting features like a removable battery, IP52 rating, and a headphone jack.
Nokia C02 features a 5.45-inch LCD display with FWVGA+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. There is a 2MP front camera and a single 5MP rear camera on the back located above the LED flash. The phone features a polycarbonate frame and back with a nano-texture that pops up to reveal a replaceable 3000mAh battery as well as dual SIM slots and a microSD card slot. The C02 charges via the dated microUSB connector at speeds up to 5W.
The chipset department is handled by an unnamed quad-core SoC with a clock speed of 1.4GHz. It is joined by 2GB of RAM and 32GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. The software side is covered by Android 12 (Go edition) and you will get two years of security updates.
