Last year, Samsung launched an exclusive version of the Galaxy S22 Ultra Mercedes Benz, and this year the company partnered with another German car manufacturer, BMW, to create the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra BMW M Edition.
However, the company will not step on iQOO’s toes, as the exclusive version will only be available in South Korea and only 1,000 units will be manufactured. Locals can pre-order one (link to SK Telecom’s online shop) until February 13th at KRW 1,727,000 for the 12/512GB unit. For comparison, the same memory capacity on the regular S23 Ultra costs KRW 1,600,400 (not including some pre-order discounts).
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra BMW M Edition
The Galaxy S23 Ultra BMW M Edition is inspired by the BMW M3 E30 specifically, the first generation M3. The exclusive package is full of BMW paraphernalia including a themed case, a key ring with six interchangeable BMW logos from six different eras, plus a BMW carousel unveiled in celebration of the company’s 50th anniversary and a metal “We Are M” emblem.
There’s more – a BMW branded battery-powered air compressor, cup holder/wireless charger, analog clock, photo book and poster. In addition, buyers will receive a Starter Pack voucher for a BMW Driving Center in Incheon, South Korea, where a trained instructor will give them driving lessons.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra BMW M Edition package comes loaded with accessories and perks
Needless to say, the Galaxy S23 Ultra BMW M Edition will be loaded with BMW-themed software stuff as well, including custom boot animations and a theme.
The pre-order period ends on February 13 (Monday), but there’s an additional period until the 17th when fans can still secure a unit — if there’s any left, of course. Pre-orders should start shipping on the 17th, along with regular S23 series models.
