Xiaomi has finally launched the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro smartphones in China. The latest flagship smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. The successor to last year’s Xiaomi 12 Pro brings a 50MP triple rear camera setup and supports 120W fast charging. Xiaomi 13 offers a flat display with a flat bezel design. Whereas, the Xiaomi 13 Pro offers a curved display panel similar to its predecessor. Let’s take a closer look at the price, specifications, and features of Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro.
Xiaomi 13 series: price and availability
The Xiaomi 13 series of smartphones will be available for purchase in four configurations – 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB. Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro are available for pre-order in China and will be available for purchase starting December 14 in China. There is no information about the global availability of the Xiaomi 13 series yet. pricing is as follows,

Xiaomi 13 Series: Specifications and Features
The Xiaomi 13 series smartphones feature E6 AMOLED display panels that support 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 1900 nits peak brightness, and are compatible with Dolby Vision content. The vanilla version features a 6.36-inch Full HD+ display panel. Whereas, the Pro variant offers a 6.73-inch LTPO display with Quad HD+ resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
Under the hood, the Xiaomi 13 series phones are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor that is built with a 4nm manufacturing process. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 has an integrated Adreno 740 GPU, up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Xiaomi’s latest flagship boots the company’s MIUI 14 out of the box. MIUI 14 for the Xiaomi 13 series of smartphones is based on Android 13.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro offers a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50MP Sony IMX989 sensor with 1-inch sensor size and OIS, a 50MP wide-angle lens with a 115-degree field of view, a 50MP telephoto camera with OIS support, and 3.2x optical zoom. On the other hand, Xiaomi 13 features a 50MP Sony IMX800 sensor with OIS, a 12MP wide-angle lens with a 120-degree field of view, and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3.2x optical zoom and OIS. Xiaomi’s latest flagships rely on 32MP front-facing shooters for selfies and video calls.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro is backed by a 4,820mAh battery and support for 120W fast charging. The Xiaomi 13 comes with a 4,500mAh battery and supports 67W fast charging. Xiaomi 13 series smartphones also support 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging. These smartphones use the Type-C port for charging and data transfer. However, similar to the Xiaomi 12 series, Xiaomi once again skipped the 3.5mm audio jack.
Xiaomi 13 series smartphones will be available for purchase in four color options – Ceramic Black, Ceramic White, Ceramic Green and Mountain Blue. There is also a limited edition Xiaomi 13 which is available in Flame Red, Sapphire Blue, Cement Gray, Hurricane Yellow, and Jungle Green color options. Xiaomi 13 series smartphones come with a stereo speaker setup and are IP68 rated.
