Samsung Galaxy A14 5G and Samsung Galaxy A23 5G: Indians can now buy 5G smartphones for just Rs 44 per day with the Galaxy A series, company says

New Delhi, January 24: Samsung India said on Tuesday that it now has more than 62 million customers of the Galaxy A series of smartphones in India, and people can now enjoy a true 5G experience for just 44 rupees per day, or 1,320 rupees per month, via attractive EMI options, such as the country- Large-scale 5G rollout gains momentum in 2023. Aditya Babbar, senior director of mobile business at Samsung India, told IANS that the early launch of new 5G smartphones is part of the company’s 5G first strategy and will help the South Korean company secure 75 percent of its smartphone business through 5G devices this year.

“We have come up with several affordability options for our customers, including very low monthly installments, which start from Rs 44 per day for the newly launched Galaxy A14 5G,” said Babar. “In fact, the Galaxy A is the fastest growing smartphone series in the industry (over 10 million units). We believe that the launch of Galaxy A14 5G and A23 5G will help us start the year on a strong note,” added Babar.

Designed for the 5G era, Samsung’s new Galaxy A series smartphones come with a large 6.6-inch display and a 5000mAh battery for seamless entertainment. Samsung is betting big on its recently launched 5G smartphones – Galaxy A14 5G and A23 5G – to cement its 5G leadership in the country.

The Galaxy A14 5G comes with Samsung’s signature new Galaxy design and is the company’s most affordable 5G smartphone in the A series range in India, starting at an effective price of Rs 14,999. The Galaxy A23 5G, which comes with a 50MP camera with OIS, starts at an effective price of Rs 20,999.

According to Babar, to democratize 5G technology in India, “we are not only reaching more customers by leveraging our depth of distribution, but also offering more affordability options to customers.”

“We have ensured that A14 5G and A23 5G are the most popular 5G smartphones in the country. We are also ensuring equal EMIs for our 4G and 5G phones,” Babar told IANS. Samsung said 60 percent of its customers use affordable platforms to buy smartphones, higher than the industry average of 40 percent.

Nearly 80 percent of Samsung customers who buy smartphones on credit use the Samsung Finance+ platform, which the company launched in 2019. Samsung led the Indian market in 5G smartphone shipments last year.
