Xiaomisub brand redmi Release Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G in October. The company is now said to be working on a 4G variant of the phone.
According to a report by XiaomiUi, the smartphone has appeared on IMEI Database hints at imminent launch. The device is likely to come as a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 10 Pro. According to the listing, the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G is named “sweet_k6a_global”, while the global variant is named “sweet_global”.
“It was originally planned to be available as Redmi Note 11 Pro 2023. However, some changes have been made. Xiaomi has changed the name of its smartphone. Along with the Redmi Note 12 series, Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G will also be introduced,” the report states.
Redmi unveiled the Note 12 series in China two months ago. The series consists of the Redmi Note 12, Note 12 Pro, and Note 12 Pro+ models.

Redmi Note 12 comes with a starting price of CNY 1,199 (roughly Rs. 13,600) for the base 4GB + 128GB storage variant. The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant costs CNY 1,299 (roughly Rs. 14,600), while the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs. 17,000). Finally, the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant comes at CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 19,300).
The Redmi Note 12 Pro starts at CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 19,300) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB variant while the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs. 20,400). The 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 22,700). The higher variant with 12GB RAM + 256GB storage costs CNY 2,199 (roughly Rs. 24,900).
Redmi Note 12 Pro+ is priced at CNY 2,099 (roughly Rs. 23,000) for the 8GB + 256GB storage variant while the 12GB + 256GB storage variant costs CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs. 26,000).
