India Shows the Way to the World: Ashwini Vaishnau
While India is preparing for 5G on the one hand, work on 6G has already begun.
Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnau, who has been keeping an eye on the technological developments, believes that India will take the lead in 6G.
6G is the sixth generation mobile phone standard currently under development for wireless communication technologies that support cellular data networks.
6G will be faster than 5G and will completely eliminate the problems – call drops, buffering, and access to the most remote corners of the country.
Explaining the government’s push, the Information Technology Minister said, “The government’s aim is to make India the technology hub of the world. The time for approvals for the telecom industry has been reduced to 7 days from the previous 300 days. India is our focus.”
