iQOO Neo7 SE: Dimensity 8200-powered Editorial Smartphone Specifications and Second Color Road Allegedly Leak Ahead of Scheduled Rescheduled Launch

iQOO planned to launch its new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 powered flagship smartphones one day after Xiaomi launched its 13-tier competitors with the same brand new processor. However, the latter has now followed in announcing that this upcoming big press conference has been postponed.

The Vivo sub-brand now also promises to update consumers as soon as it has a new date for the Series 11 event; In the meantime, the delay may leave some iQOO fans with even more suspense over how the Neo7 SE can stand out against the supposedly maxed-out new flagship.

The next semi-premium device has just debuted with the all-new Dimensity 8200. The MediaTek SoC will sport a 6.78-inch FHD+ display with a central notch and narrow bezels (though not world-class) — according to the leaked Digital Chat Station, that is.

The tipster also claims that the Neo7 SE will also be upgraded to iQOO charging at approximately 120W for a generous 5,000mAh battery. On top of that, the device also tends to follow the trend of leaving 8GB RAM modules in the past, with 12 or 16GB RAM options instead.

Oddly, the Digital Chat Station suggests that the former will be the one that will ship with 512GB of internal storage, with only 256GB for the latter. Aside from the possibility of this being a mistake aside, the leak is somewhat more explicit on the point that the Neo7 SE may launch with a back panel made of plastic instead of glass.

Its look has already been revealed thanks to iQOO teasers, and it’s known to incorporate a camera hump just like the pre-existing Neo7, albeit in a new shade of blue. According to its latest rendering, this option will be offered alongside a brighter, light-curving purple color path.

Overall, it now looks like the Neo7 SE may be aiming for value for money over premium materials. On the other hand, since its latest leak omits a 3.5mm jack, it may not be intended to be cheap when it launches.
