A market research firm published the Global Shipment of Wearable Devices Report for the third quarter of 2022, in which Huawei successfully secured the fifth position. On the other hand, the company ranks first in the Chinese market.
According to the latest information, the global wearable device shipment has reached 49 million units. As a result, the market share increased by 3.4% year on year. Although the overall growth rate is minimal, Huawei managed to score well.
In addition, Huawei ranked fifth with 7% of the global market share of smart wearable devices in the third quarter of 2022. In comparison, the result shows a decrease of 29% in annual growth. However, it seems that the upcoming Watch Buds product will definitely add new buzz to this scenario.
On the other hand, Apple leads the market with 20% market share, followed by Samsung with 10%. The list also shows Xiaomi and Noise with 9% and 7% market share respectively.
Huawei at first in China!
In addition to the global wearables market, Canalys also released the China wearables market report for Apple, Huawei, Oppo, Xiaomi and XTC (Xiaotiancai). As a result, Huawei ranked first in the original region.
The technology manufacturer has gained an overall market share of 24%. Again, a 27% drop in annual growth. Despite the downturn in growth, the company continues to lead the wearables market in China.
Notably, Huawei has done some smooth work with its wearables. That is why the company always holds a place among the best sellers in the world as well as in their hometown.
In the third quarter of this year, Huawei launched a few new smartwatches to its customers. These include the new Huawei Watch Fit 2 and Huawei Watch 3 Pro. Both devices offer innovative features at a reasonable price.
