With over four decades of experience in electronics and state-of-the-art television panel manufacturing facilities, TCL is known for bringing innovative, feature-packed products to the market.
The consumer electronics giant employs more than 75,000 people and has 21 production sites and corporate offices around the world.
In addition to its pioneering Mini-LED TV technology, TCL also develops and manufactures products ranging from mobile phones and tablets to washing machines, refrigerators and air conditioners.
Since entering the HVAC market in 1999, TCL’s technical competitiveness in air conditioning manufacturing, industry positioning and consumer brand awareness has cemented its position as a global leader.
As consumer awareness of indoor air quality (IAQ) continues to grow, the company is responding by setting new standards in product innovation.
Martin Patience, business manager of TCL Air Conditioning, said the pandemic has made everyone think more about the air quality in their homes.
“People used to focus only on comfortable indoor temperature and humidity when considering an air conditioning system. Now, they are looking for features that provide thermal comfort and mitigate airborne health risks.
TCL’s T-Pro split system air conditioning units are available in capacities of 2.6KW, 3.5KW, 5.2KW and 7.2KW, and from early 2023 an 8KW system will be introduced in the range.
“The T-Pro series works with Google Assistant and Alexa, and can connect to a smart TV, smartphone, and any compatible devices via the TCL Home app,” Patience said.
“Users can activate and control the air conditioner remotely, making it easy to turn it on and off, adjust speed and temperature.”
TCL has integrated air filtration and self-cleaning functions that reduce germs and purify the air before it is released into the environment.
“This results in cleaner, healthier air for the home and office,” Patience continued.
The Gentle Breeze function specially designed for the T-Pro ensures cool air flows in a more natural and comfortable way.
With up to 1,422 small holes perfectly spaced across the S-shaped airflow vanes, it creates a smooth, laminar airflow that reduces cold drafts common in conventional split systems.
