LUCKNOW: Days after an alleged disturbing scandal hit Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia National University of Law in Lucknow, several students of the institution were caught copying during their end-of-term examination. On Tuesday, university officials recovered 4-5 mobile phones and written papers from the examinees’ possession.
Sharing more details, Chief Superintendent KA Pandey said, “Proactive board members found written papers from students. Their answer sheets have been replaced and the matter has been reported to the Unfair Means Committee. The committee will seek an explanation from all these students. They will also have to appear again other in the aforementioned exam, which will be held later.” He added that law students in the first and third semesters appeared for exams on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, when asked if any action had been taken against the students involved in the alleged vandalism, Pandey said, “Due to the ongoing examination, there has been no progress in the fake case. However, allegations made will definitely be looked into.” by the new students.”
