Vivo is all set to launch the Vivo V25 Pro in India this week, and shortly thereafter the company is expected to launch two new budget phones in the Vivo Y series. Vivo Y22s and Vivo Y16 specifications have been revealed
Vivo Y22s will come with a new design language called laser pattern design. The device will come with flat edges and will be available in green and blue colours. As for the specifications, the device will come with the Snapdragon 680 SoC and will come with 8GB of RAM along with an additional 8GB of RAM support. The Snapdragon 680 processor has a maximum speed of 2.4GHz, which is paired with Adreno 610 GPU. This is a 4G chip.
Further, the Y22 will come with a large 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 18W fast charging. The device is rated to last up to two days on a single charge. At the front, the device will feature a 90Hz display with 2.5D curved glass. However, the screen size and resolution were not disclosed in the poster. The device will also come with an IP54 dust and water resistance rating. Finally, the Vivo Y22s will feature a dual camera setup with a 50MP main camera and a 2MP secondary camera. There is an 8MP selfie camera as well.
On the other hand, Vivo Y16 will come with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage with support for 1GB of default RAM. The device will come with a 2.5D curved glass with a flat edge design. The phone will have a 13MP f/2.2 main camera and a 2MP secondary camera. Like the Y22s, the Vivo Y16 will also come with a 5,000mAh battery. But this will only support 10W charging and there is also support for 5W reverse wireless charging. The device will be available in black and gold.
