iQOO is a performance-based sub-brand of Vivo that often strives to stay ahead of its more popular competitor with high-end display specifications, especially in its flagship phones. Now, it claims to have gone further in pursuit of smartphone gaming supremacy in its e5late 2022 assault on the Android market.
The company has announced that the successors to the 10 Series will upgrade to 2K displays with 144Hz refresh rates. On top of that, these panels will step up to Samsung’s E6 technology, which has already been touted to boost brightness to a potentially impressive 1800 nits and PWM dimming to 1440Hz.
iQOO also claims to have brought back the advanced type of variable refresh rate that adapts to different areas of the screen according to their contents; Then again, you haven’t confirmed if it can go down to the lower 1Hz in some potentially battery-conserving situations yet.
Once again, the brand confirmed the inclusion of “XDR EngineAnd a new in-house color correction algorithm, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Series 11 V2 chipset.
iQOO has hinted that these specs will be available on the vanilla 11 as well as the 11 Pro, though we may have to wait until their official debut on December 2, 2022 to find out for sure.
