Vivo iQOO Neo7 SE model to be launched on December 2 – Research Snipers

Earlier this month, it was reported that iQOO was preparing to add a new Neo7 smartphone to the series. This phone is called the Neo7 SE model. As of now, iQOO Neo7 SE is expected to be announced by December 2nd. It will be officially released along with iQOO 11. Interestingly, iQOO Neo7 SE will be the first smartphone based on MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset.

If we compare the chipset with those already available in the market, we will know that one of the main Cortex X2 cores clocked at 3.1GHz is the same flagship unit found in the Dimensity 9000. Dimensity 9000 is the modern flagship chip of the company.

Dimensity 8200 is expected to be a further upgrade compared to the 8100 chip. It has token configuration as well as clock speed. Its features are as follows:

  • 1x Cortex-A78 clocked at 3.1GHz
  • 3x Cortex-A78 clocked at 3.0GHz
  • Cortex-A55 cores remain at 2.0GHz

While the Dimensity 8200 is the chipset that some other companies will also include in their next flagships. According to the leaked news, Xiaomi is considering integrating it into the Redmi K60. Vivo will also use it in its upcoming S series smartphones.

One important thing to note here is that the iQOO Neo7 SE is supposed to be a less efficient version of the already announced Neo7. Although it is believed to have many premium and improved specifications, over time it will be seen what it holds compared to its predecessors. Since Neo6 SE has been rebranded as Neo 6 for the international market.

In addition, rumors suggest that iQOO Neo7 SE will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution as well as 120Hz refresh rate. Further, the smartphone will house a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging. Well, we will get to know more details as there are few days left regarding the launch event.
