HTC Wildfire E Plus was launched as the reborn UMIDIGI G1

HTC unveiled a new phone called Wildfire E Plus in Russia. Since 2018, the Taiwanese brand has been missing from the competitive smartphone market. However, it has gradually launched lower-priced models branded “Wildfire” in a few markets. Now the company has unveiled a device called HTC Wildfire E Plus. Well, the entry-level phone is a rebranded version of the UMIDIGI G1, which was announced in June this year.

HTC Wildfire E Plus has a 6.52 inch screen that offers HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The device is powered by MediaTek MT6739 quad-core chipset operating at 1.5GHz.

The device offers 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The device runs on Android 12 (Go edition). For additional storage, it has a microSD card slot. It houses a 5150mAh battery that supports 10W charging.

HTC Wildfire E Plus has a 5MP front camera. The camera module on the back of the phone houses a 13MP primary camera and a 5MP macro camera.

For security, it has a fingerprint scanner and face unlock. It has other features like dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB-C port, and 3.5mm audio jack.

HTC Wildfire E Plus price and availability

HTC Wildfire E Plus is priced at RUB 7,990 ($129). It only comes in black. It is not clear if the Taiwanese market will launch the Wildfire E Plus in any other market outside of China.
