Upcoming smartphones in November 2022: Oppo, Realme, Xiaomi, Motorola, and more

Smartphone launches never seem to stop even though we are nearing the end of the year. As of writing this article, two brands have confirmed the launch of new phones in November.

However, we believe there may be more announcements later this month. We have listed several products based on leaks and rumours.

Most of them mentioned in this post will likely become official in the next few weeks. In addition, we may also see the launch of phones that are not listed here.

With that out of the way, let’s take a look at all the phone releases expected in the coming days.

Smartphones coming in November 2022

1. Huawei P50 Pocket S

It has been confirmed that Huawei P50 Pocket S will be launched in China on November 2. It will be an affordable version of last year’s Huawei P50 Pocket.

The clamshell foldable smartphone is said to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 4G chipset, 120Hz display, and cameras powered by the company’s in-house XMAGE image processing.

It is expected to come in six vibrant colors (black, blue, pink, white, green, and yellow) and two memory variants (128GB and 256GB).

2. Realme 10 series

Realme 10 is confirmed to be officially launched in multiple markets (mostly Southeast Asia) on November 10. There are also leaks regarding the Realme 10 Pro Plus but it may not be announced at the event.

As far as the Realme 10 is concerned, it will be the budget 4G phone. Teasers and leaks revealed that it comes with a MediaTek Helio G99 chip, a 6.4-inch FHD+ 90Hz display, a 50MP + 2MP dual camera setup, a 16MP selfie camera, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, Android 12, and a 5,000mAh battery. And support for 33W fast charging.

The device is expected to go on sale from November 11 in Southeast Asia via retailers such as Shopee and Lazada.

3. Oppo A98 phone

Oppo A98 is said to be the most premium phone in the Oppo A series so far. Some of its features have been introduced but its release date is vague. However, there is a possibility that it will become official in November.

According to the leaks, the device will flaunt a curved FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2160Hz PWM dimming. The panel will have the highest screen-to-body ratio on a single punch-hole curved display with a 3.3xmm chin.

It will offer other features such as Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC, 108MP primary camera, 5,000mAh battery, and support for 67W fast charging.

4. Oppo A58 5G phone

Oppo may launch another A-series phone called Oppo A58 5G in November. Although the exact launch date is unknown, its specifications and design are unknown.

According to the massive leak, the device will arrive with a 6.56-inch full-HD+ 90Hz display (LCD), MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, LPDDR4x RAM, UFS 2.2 storage, 50MP + 2MP dual camera system, 8MP selfie camera, and a side- Installed fingerprint sensor, Android 12, 5,000mAh battery, and 33W fast charging support.

The product comes in three colors, such as Tranquil Sea Blue, Breeze Purple, and Starry Sky Black.

5. Oppo Reno 9 series

Oppo Reno 9 series is also rumored to launch in November. The lineup is said to include three models, namely Oppo Reno 9, Oppo Reno 9 Pro, and Oppo Reno 9 Pro Plus. However, only details about the vanilla variant have been leaked so far.

The standard Oppo Reno 9 tipped to sport a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz curved display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus chipset, 64MP OmniVision OV64B primary camera, 32MP Sony IMX709 selfie camera, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Finally, it will run Android 13 and will be backed by a 4,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.

6. Redmi Note 11 Pro 2023

We expected the Redmi Note 11 Pro 2023 to go official in October but that didn’t happen. Now, we think it might be released in November.

According to testimonials and leaks, this smartphone will only be the Redmi Note 10 Pro (aka Redmi Note 10 Pro Max) from 2021. It may only be sold in Southeast Asia and Europe as there is only the “global” variant of it.

It will offer features such as 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC, 108MP (wide) + 8MP (ultrawide) + 5MP (tele) + 2MP (depth) Quad-camera setup, 16MP selfie camera megapixels, dual stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 5020mAh battery, and 33W fast charging support.

Interestingly, the phone may be running Android 11 even though the original Redmi Note 10 Pro has received the Android 12 update.

7. Poco X5 5G phone

Poco X5 5G could debut in November. If not, the Chinese Redmi-branded variant could at least become official. Because the model numbers of this phone refer to the October release but the said month has already passed.

Unfortunately, we don’t have much information about it. The product is said to be marketed as a gaming smartphone.

It is said to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ SoC and 120Hz display (LCD).

8. Xiaomi series 13

Two models of the Xiaomi 13 series, the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro, could debut in November. It is expected to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which is also scheduled to go official this month.

The vanilla model is said to come with a 6.38-inch FHD+ display, a 50MP main camera, and support for 67W fast charging. On the other hand, a lot has been leaked about the Pro version.

Xiaomi 13 Pro is expected to arrive with a 6.7-inch QHD+ LTPO E6 AMOLED display, 50MP (1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor) + 50MP (ultra-wide) + 50MP (telephoto) triple-camera array, 32MP selfie camera, And Leica image processing, Surge C2 / P2 chips, MIUI 14 based on Android 13, 4800 mAh battery, 120W fast charging support.

If you are wondering about the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, it is likely to be released next year.

9. Motorola Moto X40

Motorola Moto X40 could be launched in November as one of the first Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 phones, apart from the Xiaomi 13 series. Just like the latter, the exact launch date is unknown.

The device is expected to come with a 10-bit 6.67-inch FHD + 165Hz curved screen, LPDDR5x RAM, 50MP + 50MP + 12MP triple camera system, in-display fingerprint sensor, 5000mAh battery, and support for 68W fast charging.

The product is likely to move to the Motorola Edge 40 Pro outside of mainland China. The global debut could happen in the first quarter of 2023.
