This evening, BAFTA hosted a career retrospective with award-winning actress and producer, Margot Robbie. In an in-depth discussion with Briony Hanson, Director of Film at the British Council, Margot Robbie reflects on her diverse and award-winning films, including her upcoming Babylon, directed by Damien Chazelle – and her work championing gender equality both in front of and behind the camera.

Six of Robbie’s blockbusters were explored as part of the event, including The Wolf of Wall Street (2013), I, Tonya (2017), Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood (2019), Mary Queen of Scots (2018) Suicide Squad (2021) and Babylon (2022).
