Motorola Moto X40, which is known as Edge 40 Pro in western markets, is still waiting for its launch. We have received many reports and leaks and we know for a fact that it runs Qualcomm’s recently announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Now the general manager of Lenovo’s mobile business division has shared his AnTuTu score.
The score of 1,312,901 is about 30% higher than what we get on smartphones powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. Even the Plus variant of the SoC barely crosses the million-dot mark. In fact, some phones post even less. This appears to be in line with Qualcomm’s claims of a performance increase of about 35% over the last generation.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 uses next-generation ARM CPU cores – 1x Cortex-X3, 4x Cortex-A715, and 3x Cortex-A510 along with a new Adreno GPU that promises an improvement of around 25%.
