TCL T7G 4K TV launched with 144Hz refresh rate and NFC tap-to-cast feature

TCL has launched the T7G TV series in China for pre-order. The device is available in four screen sizes: 55 inches, 65 inches, 75 inches and 85 inches. Dynamic local dimming from backlighting allows for a high contrast ratio for accurate light and dark detail, with a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. Android TV supports 4K at 144Hz with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels for an ultra HD experience.

The screen has a 96% DCI-P3 color gamut, and Q Image Engine provides 12 image optimization tools. Several technologies are supported by the T7G, such as Dolby Vision IQ, Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision Gaming, and DTS-HD. TCL’s 85-inch TV has five 60W speakers for 2.1, and the intelligent AI sound field can improve the listening experience based on the space in which the TV is placed.

Tools that you can use on TV for games include VRR and ALLM. You can connect devices, including game consoles, to the device via its three HDMI 2.1 ports, with data transfer speeds of up to 48Gbps. Another way to connect to the TV is to tap a compatible smart device on the NFC card to start casting.

You can currently pre-order the TCL T7G TV in China at discounted prices ranging from 3,599 to 8,999 yuan (about $526 to $1,315). To secure a TV, you need to pay a deposit of 100 yuan (about 15 US dollars), and the devices are expected to sell for 4,499 to 10,999 yuan (about 657 to 1,607 US dollars) after the pre-sale period.
