Oukitel has announced that the WP21 smartphone will have two screens when it is launched. Its extra rear-facing screen is the focus of the camera hump, which also houses a 64MP main sensor. The WP21 is powered by one of MediaTek’s latest 4G/LTE only processors and will be launched before Black Friday 2022.

Where some smartphones have large circular multi-lens camera enclosures and others may have huge speakers, the new Oukitel WP21 has a fully round secondary screen. On the other hand, it features a 6.78-inch FHD+ display with 120Hz resolution.

Its IP68/IP69K/MIL-STD-810H rated body houses a 9800mAh battery. Other smartphones of the rugged type might do better in this regard; However, Oukitel may have made up for this with an unusually fast 66W charging.

There’s no wireless charging here, however, even though the OEM did include power bank functionality in the WP21, which only has 12GB/256GB of internal storage.

Therefore, Oukitel describes its new device as “flagship dual displayAlthough its MediaTek Helio G99 processor does not support 5G and will run on Android 12 out of the box.

Oukitel is previewing the WP21 on AliExpress right now at a price of $299.99. However, it’s not scheduled to launch until November 24, 2022, with the OEM mentioning incentives like $10 coupons and maybe even a free smartwatch with orders of the new smartphone, valid until November 29.
