Xiaomi 13 visits 3C certification site ahead of rumors launching later this year

Xiaomi recently launched the 12S series in China. The company has reserved its flagship 12S series smartphones exclusively for its home country. However, the Xiaomi 13 is likely to launch globally. According to rumors, the Xiaomi 13 series will debut in China in November or December 2022. However, the global launch will start sometime next year. It looks like a launch is imminent as the Series 13 was spotted on 3C’s website.

The listing on the 3C certification website confirms the fast charging details of the flagship smartphone. Let’s take a look at the specifications and features of Xiaomi 13 and other details.

The vanilla Xiaomi 13 could be the flagship entry-level offering of the series, which is expected to be officially unveiled by the end of this year. Xiaomi has not confirmed any details about the launch. Meanwhile, the 3C listing reveals that the vanilla Xiaomi 13 will have model number 2211133C. The device is likely to launch in November along with the 13 Pro.

According to the 3C listing, the vanilla model comes with 67W fast charging support. Considering the 12S and Xiaomi 12 also feature 67W fast charging support, the upcoming base model doesn’t get any upgrades here.

Recently, an alleged live image of the phone was leaked, which showed a new camera module design. The phone is likely to include a triple camera setup on the back and may support laser autofocus.

There will be a 6.3-inch Full HD + or AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K with support for a refresh rate of 120Hz. The phone is also likely to feature a 50MP main camera sensor. Given that the phone has a compact form factor, we can expect it to pack a 4,500mAh – 4,700mAh battery. It is also likely to run Android 13-based MIUI 13 or even MIUI 14 out of the box.
