OnePlus has updated six more smartphones to OxygenOS 13, after it brought the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro to the new OS a few days ago. While OnePlus gained a reputation last year for taking too long to release major software updates for its older smartphones, it seems to have changed its tune with Android 13. As it is, OnePlus has now released Android 13-based updates for the following additional devices:
- OnePlus 8
- OnePlus 8 Pro
- OnePlus 8T
- OnePlus 9T
- OnePlus 9RT
- OnePlus 10R
Apparently, the six devices received the same new features as each other, even though OnePlus has released them with different build numbers. For example, the OnePlus 8 series should now be on F.13 firmware, while the OnePlus 9R should now be on F.16 firmware. Likewise, OnePlus has upgraded the OnePlus 9RT to F.11 and the OnePlus 10R to C.14.
As with the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro, OnePlus was supposed to bring all six devices to the Aquamorphic design language, as well as several performance and other visual tweaks. In addition, OxygenOS 13 has Dolby Atmos support and revised Private Safe suite. While OnePlus rolls out updates in batches, you can usually update your device manually through services like Oxygen Updater, which is an app you can download via the Google Play Store.
