Redmi 11A has received BIS certification and may soon be launched in India

Xiaomi sub-brand redmi May plan to expand budget smartphone portfolio in the country. Earlier this month, the phone maker approved a device with model number 22120RN86C by TENAA, a Chinese regulatory body (spotted by GizmoChina). The company has now received approval for the same phone from Standards Bureau of India Website with a different model number (22120RN86I).

It is expected that the new device is Redmi 11A phone The smartphone and the letter “I” at the end of the model number stand for the Indian variant. The BIS listing indicates that the Redmi 11A may be launched soon in the country and the TENAA website has also revealed some key specifications of the upcoming phone.

This phone is expected to be launched in 2023 and will succeed the Redmi 10A for this year. Xiaomi has not shared any official details about the Redmi 11A smartphone. However, recent certifications suggest that the phone may launch in China and India, respectively.

Redmi 11A: expected specifications
According to the TENAA listing, the Redmi 11A smartphone is expected to feature a 6.7-inch IPS LCD panel that will have a waterdrop notch and support HD+ display resolution. The device may also contain a file Dark gray Colorful background panel featuring diagonal stripes.

The upcoming device is likely to come powered by a 2.0GHz processor supported by up to 8GB of storage RAM And an internal storage of 256 GB. The Redmi 11A is also expected to arrive in multiple RAM options and notch.

The rear panel of the Redmi 11A is rumored to have a square camera module on the back which will house a 50MP main sensor, a secondary module, and an LED flash. For selfies and video calls, the phone will also have a 5MP front camera.

Apart from the 5,000mAh battery, the upcoming phone will also feature an IR Blaster and a fingerprint scanner.
