Xiaomi Redmi Note 11R launches with imitation POCO design at mid-range price

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 11R, and its first signs appeared a few days ago. As expected, the Redmi Note 11R arrived ahead of the Redmi Note 12 series, which is still there to be spotted in several certification agencies, including the EEC in Russia. As for the Redmi Note 11R, it will join more than a dozen models of the already existing Redmi Note 11 series.

At the heart of the Redmi Note 11R is a 6.58-inch display with a frequency of 90Hz, 1080p and a contrast ratio of 1500: 1. In addition, the device features a 5000 mAh battery, 128 GB storage, 4 GB, 6 GB or 8 GB RAM. Furthermore, the Redmi Note 11R comes in three colors, all with a design similar to the POCO M4 5G.

As far as we can tell, the Redmi Note 11R is just a rebranded POCO M4 5G, not a clone. Accordingly, the former has a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset and a 13MP dual camera setup. Supposed to ship with MIUI 13 based on Android 12, the Redmi Note 11R is already available in China, starting at CNY 1,099 (~$154) with 4GB of RAM. Alternatively, Xiaomi is offering the smartphone with 6GB of RAM for CNY 1,199 (~$168) and 8GB of RAM for CNY 1,399 (~$196). Since Xiaomi sells the Redmi Note 11R as the POCO M4 5G outside of China, it is unlikely that the Redmi Note 11R will be launched in other markets.
