While the day itself may still be a few weeks away, Black Friday deals are already rolling in, with an impressive array of early deals already available for savvy shoppers and discount enthusiasts. One thing that caught our eye in particular was the eyebrow-raising Samsung Galaxy S22 Black Friday deal from Mobiles.co.uk.
Grab this offer and you can secure a new 128GB Samsung Galaxy S22 at no upfront cost, plus 24 months of unlimited 5G data and Vodafone calls and texts for just £47/month, a fee of just £28/month. Months once a £456 cashback is claimed. This brings the final total cost to just £673. If all that wasn’t enough, you can also claim 12 months of Disney Plus for free as part of the current Samsung promotion.
While this deal shows instant promise even to the untrained eye, it reveals itself as a truly top-notch proposition when you stop cracking it. Samsung currently lists the Galaxy S22 at £769 on its website, with 24 months of unlimited data on a Vodafone SIM-only contract at a cost of £30/month. Factor in the cost of £7.99 a month for Disney Plus, and the total cost for this no-deal package is £1,585.
Yes, you read that right, with this deal, you get a new phone, two years of data, texts and calls and a full year of premium streaming for less than half the cost of almost all of this. Now if that’s not all about Black Friday, we don’t know what is.

While it may have overshadowed the Galaxy S22 Ultra a bit, the base model of Samsung’s latest flagship isn’t slow. The phone’s straightforward exterior and aesthetics hold up well, as the S22 has a particularly sleek design, a durable IP-68-rated metal frame and a convenient palm-sized fit that gives it an edge, at least to our minds, some of the larger smartphones we’ve seen in recent years.
Internally, the phone has a fast Exynos 2200 octa-core processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 3700mAh battery. In terms of display and cameras, it also ticks the boxes across the panel, with a 6.1-inch 120Hz FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and a quad-camera array featuring a 50MP (f/1.8) main camera, as well as telephoto, ultrawide, and selfie lenses.
While it’s not our network of choice, falling behind in areas like customer support and value, Voadafone’s recent mobile network review acknowledged that the company at least appears to be heading in the right direction, with improved coverage and 5G performance on the horizon. Even with some of the negatives in mind, while acknowledging the above prices, we can still say for sure that it pays to throw a lot at Vodafone when a deal like this comes along.
What does this Disney Plus freebie offer? Here, you can access the latest content from Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, and National Geographic, not to mention shows and movies from outside the Disney umbrella like The Bear and Prey and See How They Run.
