Your spec suggestion is nice but think again in the context of other models, other phones planned won’t be disassembled. This is how it works. They will give more but with an LCD screen (for example) and people will complain again just choose or wait for the model that suits you.

So, the difference between Pro+ and Explorer is only the charging speed?
Hemedans, 18 hours agoI don’t agree with this guy but 778G is better than 1080, I wouldn’t be surprised…moreIf you ask me which chipset I want for the Global Pro+, I will struggle to choose between Snapdragon 778 and Dimensity 1100. 778 because it currently has the best performance-to-price ratio among Snapdragon chipsets. 1100 is still more advanced and outperforms 1080 even though their names are pretty close.

From the feedback from the Chinese user of Coolapk, it is clear that the 1080 cannot meet the capabilities of the main camera sensor and screen.

Such an extra HW in the Redmi Note – which is otherwise nothing but mediocre – is no news, it’s an addiction in one model so there’s no reason to complain. The consumer can choose whether or not to have a more balanced package. Long battery life is not a goal anyway, they will give you the next one in 6 months, also SW support accordingly nothing special.
The lack of SD card support is sad, as the Redmi Note has a history of being generous with these features, so users should expect it.
Someone wants more/something else? Then choose from a zillion models of Pocos, Lites, etc. But first, wait for the global release for the final opinion.

It’s really funny to see the comments section ask for a flagship level spec on what has always been a mid-range segment.
Also, people saying that the Chipset 1 is similar to the Chipset 2, so the Chipset 1 is old despite being clearly new.
Although Redmi notes pro has some great specs like main camera sensor, fast charging, screen etc., the main drawback is the mid-range 1080 CPU. This week has passed by Coolapk, one of the popular Chinese computer and mobile community, many real users have uploaded new Note 12 photos, benchmarks, looking at test results and comments. When playing games like Honor of Kings, users feel sluggish and sluggish in daily use like switching between apps and sluggishness. This new phone reminds me of xiaomi cc9 pro, great cameras but mid range cpu, main problem was slow.
Sin, 7 hours agoXiaomi got it all very wrong, faster charging = shorter battery life… moreI’ve been getting slow charging and I feel like the battery is losing (a year old phone). It’s not very important and I’d like to reconsider, it’s still a great phone.
Buying a new phone, you shouldn’t worry too much about the deterioration that you won’t see clearly, only if you’ve been using the phone 3+ years on an ss charge.
Good news for you, you can also charge this slowly, at least there is an option, unlike others.
High resolution gets tough in the mid-range, handling matters and even the 30ultra edge didn’t come out clean and that’s a 999th thing for the price.
On the other hand, this combines the exciting new hw with a land-based configuration (no 2x zoom lens if you get a 200MP camera), which is still easier to sell/buy than the (boring) traditional 12MP buy/sell.
But given that its camera is very disappointing and the global price will be higher, I will probably wait for some alternatives in the price range for a higher memory configuration for this.
One final thing, it’s way more awesome than Sony’s way of mid-range phones offering 8 + 12 + 8 MP, you can just laugh, lol.
Xiaomi got it all very wrong
Faster charging = shorter battery life
It is a well-known fact that fast charging causes the smartphone to overheat, damage it and harm the health of the battery
200MP camera manufacturing costs were wasted, which also squandered the overall price of smartphones
When other more important specifications such as storage are neglected, you cannot save many photos and videos that you take from HD camera cameras
You beat the screen also it’s not 4k or 8k so you also can’t see your photos in that high resolution either
I hope people have some common sense
There are very unbalanced smartphones
I think it would have been better if they used Dimensity 1200.
